Hi! I’m Felicia Oreb, one half of the Base Body Babes

I am a personal trainer and co-founded the Base Body Babes together with my sister in 2012. I have a Bachelor Degree in Design, majoring in Interior Designer and have used my creative flair to enhance our brands aesthetic appeal and make it one of the most recognised fitness brands in the world.

After having my first child in 2010, I began my own health and fitness journey to build my strength and fitness. I trained with my husband Sebastian Oreb (@australianstrengthcoach) who is one of the world’s best strength coaches to develop a strong, happy and healthy body. My sister Diana was working at the child care center where I was taking my daughter and everyday at school drop off, other mothers would ask what I did to get into shape postpartum. Diana had already completed her Personal Training Certification and was regularly training herself and others outside of her day job. We would get daily requests from the mothers at the school to train with us and this is what prompted us to start an outdoor bootcamp for mums.

It was not long after this that other women (not mums) began to notice us and the results we were getting for our clients and soon enough we were approached to help them achieve their health and fitness goals also. As a result, we expanded our business and created our online training service that catered for all women and not long after, we were able to open our first gym, before eventually expanding to open a further two.

I am extremely passionate about teaching my daughters and women all over the world the importance of having a healthy, happy and strong body and mind. I love lifting weights and I love lifting heavy, but as a mum of a toddler, I don’t often have time anymore for longer sessions. I understand what it means to be a busy mum and wife with barely any spare time, but I always try to prioritise my health, fitness and personal goals by showing up and getting it done, whatever that may look like, and I am here to help you do the same.

Hi! I’m Diana Johnson, one half of the Base Body Babes.

I have been passionate about health and fitness for a very long time now. I was always a sporty kid and started training in the gym in my mid teens, I even employed my own personal trainer when I was 16 years old. Out of school, I completed my Degree in Early Childhood Learning and began directing childcare centers around Sydney. I loved my work and have always loved helping people. I also really loved training and as a side hobby, I completed my Personal Training Certification, initially out of my own interest, because I wanted to learn as much as I could so I could train myself and my friends.

It wasn’t until 2012, not long after my sister had her first born, that we both decided to change careers and start our new business together. We began coaching clients from our local park, before we outgrew that setup and realised we needed a physical space indoors to accommodate our growing clientele. We went on to open our first female exclusive gym, whilst also working on our online business, so we could reach even more women from around the world.

Our amazing Base Body Studio is my happy place. I love training myself, my friends and our clients there and am forever grateful for the opportunity we have to train and be surrounded by so many amazing women. I love the community we have created and it’s an honor to wake up everyday and go to a place that I so genuinely love.

I love lifting heavy weights, my favourite lift is the Sumo Deadlift and without sounding too proud, I have achieved some pretty cool things with my lifts. I am able to squat and deadlift triple my bodyweight, which is something I never thought was possible, but here I am, using our Base Body methods and getting stronger, fitter, healthier, happier and more confident with every year that passes, and now I hope I can help you do the same.

Your Tailored Training Programs

All of our programs are tailored to your needs. Whether you want to train at home or in the gym, how many days per week you want to train, and what type of training you like to focus on – whether it’s strength or circuit – we have the training program for you. Once you sign up, the app will take you through our custom program generator to build a training program to suit you!

Gym Training Programs

Our gym training program is our most popular program. With this program we are able to focus on your main compound lifts with heavy weights – a Barbell Squat, Barbell Deadlift, Barbell Bench Press and Barbell Overhead Press. Whether you are a beginner, all the way through to advanced, our Gym program is the program we recommend you choose if you want to learn to get as strong as possible.


At Home Workout Programs

Our At Home Training Programs are made for those who want to train from the convenience of their own homes, but still get stronger. Our At Home workouts utilise dumbbells and you have the option of either a Strength Only program, or a combination of Strength & Circuit style workouts!


Weight Training Programs

Whether you are training from the gym or home, or following a Strength based program or a combination of Strength and Circuit style program – our programs are always weights based. Whether you are training from your home or in a gym, our Program Generator will build a customised weights based training program for you. When designing your program, our intelligently designed Program Generator considers various lifestyle factors – including sleep, nutrition, your experience in the gym, your goals, your circumstances and your engagement in other types of exercise.

Our state of the art Custom Load Calculator recommends what weights to use on your main lifts – Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift, as well as suggest a suitable rest period for you and help plan your progressions throughout your Base Body programs, based on a number of answers you provide when completing our Questionnaire. We have also included optional guided ‘Strength Testing Days’, to help you determine your current strength levels.



Delicious recipe and meal ideas to suit all dietary requirements have been included to help keep your mind inspired and your body nourished when it comes to fueling your body. With vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free and pescatarian options, you are sure to find meal ideas to suit your personal requirements.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack and smoothie sections available with new recipes uploaded regularly, plus a filter and favorites section to help you navigate your recipes easily. If you are interested in tracking your nutrition via external sources, the macronutrient and calorie breakdowns of each recipe have been included for your information.



It is always our goal to empower you with the knowledge and tools you need to be as happy, healthy, fit, strong and confident as ever. Our ‘Learn’ blog style education section is full of articles, video tutorials and information relating to training with weights, health, fitness, nutrition, lifestyle and wellbeing topics to help keep you informed and equipped with knowledge, so you can make educated choices on your own health and fitness journey.



For optimal results, it is essential that the body is continuously challenged in order to change and develop. For this reason, our training programs apply the principles of progressive overload, whereby they run in 4 week phases, which means you follow the same weekly program for 4 weeks before moving onto your next training program. The aim is to improve and progress each session, and to help you track that progression, we have included a Full Weights Tracker to log the weights you have lifted each session.

Base Body – The App also has an in-built health tracker to track your water intake, bodyweight and body measurements, plus Smartphone Health Integration to track your steps and sleep.



How long does each workout go for?

We recommend you allow a minimum of 45-60 minutes for each workout. Keep in mind, this may change over time – the heavier weight you are lifting you are, the longer you will need to spend warming up!

Is every program I receive different?

The Base Body training programs apply the principles of progressive overload and run in 4 week phases, which means you follow the same weekly program for 4 weeks at a time, with a focus on progressing each session. At the end of every 4 week phase, your program will change and you will receive your next 4 week program. For optimal results, it is essential that the body is continuously challenged in order to change and develop. But don’t worry, you don’t have to think too much about that! That’s what Base Body-The App is here for, to take the thinking out of your programming and make the training process as rewarding as possible.

Once I sign up, how long does it take to receive my program?

Once you purchase, you will fill out a questionnaire on the app and a program will be automatically generated for you.

What is included in the nutrition section?

Together with our Accredited Practising Dietitian and Nutritionist, we have developed a collection of recipe and meal ideas that will compliment your training program and keep your body fuelled with healthy and delicious foods.

We have options for different diet types, these include:

  • Standard
  • Pescatarian
  • Vegetarian
  • Lacto-Vegetarian
  • Ovo-Vegtarian
  • Vegan
  • We also include filters for Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free and Nut-Free recipes.

If I choose the home program, what equipment do I need?

If you choose to workout from home, we require a set of dumbbells as a minimum. Resistance bands are preferred, but not necessary!
