Base Gym and Base Body Studio are boutique Personal Training facilities located in Sydney, Australia and were founded by Base Body Babes and Sebastian Oreb “Australian Strength Coach”, one of the most sought after strength coaches in the world.

Specialising in training women with weights. We are here to create a community of like-minded women who want to motivate and inspire one another on their health and fitness journey. We are here to help you build your base for optimal health, fitness and wellbeing through our training system and nutrition guidance. We are here to give you the tools you need to workout safely and efficiently, nourish your body, think and feel more positively about your body and maintain it for life. With a team of world class trainers, the worlds best training equipment and amazing clientele, the Base training experience is like no other. Our approach is simple and effective and can be used from the very beginner to the most elite athletes in the world. The same techniques used to achieve world class results are also used for the everyday person looking to be the best version of themselves. With clients including pre and post natal mothers, corporates, students, rehabilitation clients, celebrities, professional athletes, people of all ages and fitness levels.

Our training system is based on a combination of strength and circuit style training with weights. We are human movement specialist, and to us, TECHNIQUE IS EVERYTHING! All Base trainers practice what they preach and are walking, talking examples of the results that can be achieved by following our methods. We want to teach you how to move your body the right way. We specialise in rehabilitation, pre and post natal, fat loss, muscle gain and of course getting our babes STRONG!!!

Build Your Base Sessions are small group training sessions designed by Base Body Babes and Australian Strength Coach. These sessions are designed to help you build a structurally balanced physique, free from injury, and stronger than ever before. Including a combination of strength and circuit style weights based workouts, our sessions are suitable for all levels of fitness, from beginners to advanced. Our sessions are capped at 10 spaces and run in 12 week cycles, which involve 3 x 4 week phases and are instructed by our team of amazing coaches. If you are looking for the results and attention you would gain from personal training sessions at a fraction of the cost, in a fun and social environment, these sessions are perfect for you.

Whether your goal is to lose fat, improve sports performance, gain muscle, get fit, healthy, strong, rehabilitate injury, gain confidence, and have better quality of life, our training sessions can help you achieve it all. As human movement specialists, who understand the absolute importance of technique and correct programming, we are here to give you the tools you need to train as safely and efficiently as possible to help you achieve your desired results. We know from experience through training ourselves, and training thousands of clients around the world, that strength training provides greater results than any other form of training. Co founder | Personal Trainer

Hi! I'm Felicia Oreb. Here is a little insight into my life and how I became a personal trainer and one half of one of the worlds most recognised fitness brands - Base Body Babes.

Straight out of high school, I began studying to become an Interior Designer. After 4 years of study, I completed my Bachelor Degree in Design, majoring in Interior design. At that point, I had no idea that design would not be the career path I would eventually take, but it definitely helped create the brand that would mean the most to my sister and I, our beloved Base Body Babes.

In 2008, I married my high school sweetheart, who was a Personal Trainer at the time, so I was already involved in the fitness industry with him. However, I did not begin my career in Personal Training until 2010, after I gave birth to my daughter. At the time, I had decided to get back into shape by training with my husband Sebastian Oreb (@australianstrengthcoach) who is one of the worlds best strength coaches. My sister Diana was working at the child care centre where I was taking my daughter and everyday at school drop off, other mothers would ask what I did to get back into shape. Diana had already completed her Personal Training Certification and was regularly training herself and others outside of her day job. We would get daily requests from the mothers at the school to train with us and this is what prompted us to start an outdoor bootcamp for mums. It was not long after this that other women (not mums) began to notice us and the results we were getting for our clients and soon enough we were approached to help them get into shape also. This is when we expanded our business and created our online training service. We wanted something that would cater for all women and we wanted to help more people than those in our local surroundings, so Base Body Babes was born.

Now, years later, as experts in our field and digital influencers, with two gyms, a cafe and a successful online training business, we want to help more people than ever before become confident with lifting weights. We have developed what we believe to be the best virtual personal training experience in the world today and we want to help you reach all of your health and fitness goals.

Co Founder | Personal Trainer

Hi! I'm Diana Johnson. Here is a little insight into my life and how I became a personal trainer and one half of one of the worlds most recognised fitness brands - Base Body Babes.

I have been passionate about health and fitness for a long time now. I was always a sporty kid and started training in the gym in my mid teens, I even employed my own personal trainer when I was 16 years old. Out of school, I studied childcare and completed my degree in Early Childhood Education and began directing childcare centres around Sydney. I loved my work, I love helping people and have always been a nurturer. I also really loved training and studied Personal Training initially out of my own interest in the industry, I wanted to learn as much as I could so I could train myself and my friends.

It wasn't until 2010 when my sister had her child and she completed her certification, that we both decided to change careers and start our new business. Once we started training and helping others, everything shifted for us and we knew this was what we wanted to do and as sisters, the fact that we could both do it together was even better. We felt like we really had a lot to offer our clients and women in general, we loved helping them achieve their goals and changing their lives, it was a no brainer for us, this is what we were destined to do.

We want to share our knowledge and experience with as many women as possible to help them feel happier, healthier, fitter, stronger and more confident than ever so they can live their best life possible.

Meet our Head Female Strength Coach, Sarah Boulazeris. Sarah specialises in pre and post natal training, fat loss, muscle gain and of course getting our babes strong, fit and healthy!
Whether you’re a beginner who has never trained with weights or you’re a regular gym goer, our one-on-sessions with Sarah will get you on the right track to achieving your health and fitness goals.

Kayla

Physiotherapist | Strength Coach

Kayla is a Physiotherapist, Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer. With qualifications in Exercise & Sport Science, Clinical Pilates and Dry Needling, Kayla has a deep understanding of the body and how it moves. Kayla takes a holistic approach to coaching her clients by focusing on human movement, rehabilitation, nutrition, mindset and lifestyle. Her passion lies in helping people to be the healthiest, happiest and most confident version of themselves.

Eryn

Strength Coach | Group Trainer

Eryn is a Strength Coach and Group Trainer at Base Body Studio, and also works full time as a registered nurse. Eryn started her journey with the Base Body Babes in 2014 as a client, where Felicia & Diana taught her how to train and how to lift weights. Eryn has since continued strength training and has competed in a powerlifting competition with a 130kg squat, 160kg deadlift, and 60kg bench press.
